Karaoke anyone?
The Stanley, another of Ramsey's infamous pubs has undergone a few changes recently. The old landlord Yuki, who ran the pub for over a quarter of a Century has retired. A new paint job inside and out. The first ever pool table has taken up residence. The legendary Steve and Bob karaoke nights have ceased to be replaced by Paulette's Saturday night karaoke. Most of my photos have actually been taken inside this pub of friends and strangers, Friday nights after dark. You can still see the harbour from the pub though and the local pint is still the same. A place many island visitors fondly remember, and locals enjoy. It's been the end of an era recently, and the start of a new, and a rare daylight shot from me of the pub and local scooter run.
Cheers.

Thanks Jane. This means a lot to me.
Karaoke not my cup of tea hun. My Dad's pub from a nipper.
I've become a convert to karaoke, but still enjoy taking the photos.
Refurbished pub, scooter run and seasude vuew through a pint; what more can a person need?
The pool table I can appreciate! The karaoke, not so much!
I think the new landlord has the same view as you William. The pub is legendary for the Friday Night karaoke, and truly an end of an era.
I will avoid places that have karaoke...It's annoying in a public place..
Great shot of the scooters!
aha, i think i've seen a photo or two from inside!
Karaoke definitely is a marmite question, love or hate and feeling either way are strong. It is pretty amazing to ponder, the karaoke photos have a cult following around the world.
