RAMSEY RUGBY TO THE TOUR DE FRANCE

Well the rugby season is over and I'll have to wait now to take anymore. It's not just he Isle of Man TT we have here sport wise. Rugby, football, kite flying, and of course don't forget Mark Cavendish. Some of you may of heard of him if you followed the Tour de France. He won a couple of Races, a Yellow Jersey Winner, and yes he's an island resident. In fact we used to work at the same place, at different times. In fact my old work station was previously occupied by him, then me. The hot seat.

I'm a bit pushed for time tonight, so this is a good time to dish out some more blog awards.

This time I received another Arte y pico from Jackie in GLASCOW

1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award, creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogger community, no matter of language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award-winning, has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the ward itself.
4) Award-winning and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y pico"blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5) To show these rules.

My choices today are for blogs you need to visit.

CORSICANA for having 2 other terrific fun blogs too, dedication
JAMJARSUPERSTAR excellent music reviews
SAN FRANSICO BAY a mad talking cow and terrific research
PORT TOWNSEND beautiful images, fun posts
Terrell Daily Photo poignant, thoughtful and wonderful research

Now you Lucky people it's just for fun, but I enjoy coming to your blogs, and I know others will too they just need diresctions to get there. So folks follow the links. Recipients copy and paste the award from my blog and pick your 5.

As Friday is skywatch and theme day( metal) I shall be combining the two in a series of images.
Hopefully it will work.

I really like this shot. Rugby is something I don't get to see much of here.

Combining themes sounds real interesting, a bit of creativity is never wrong.

I never thought that I would turn into such a hooting a hollering sports fan. I am rugby and soccer crazy! That's what having 2 sons will do to you:)

Babooshka, I can certainly see why you would receive an award and I congratulate you! I'm honored and dumb-founded that you've passed it on to ME! Thank you!. The pressure is on to keep all three of mine going now! LOL.

I dont see who people can play rugby and not get killed. It is fun to watch, but only on TV over here. Thank you so much for the award you have given me. Seems like I should be giving you the award, I am a rookie still learning on how to write, blog, take pictures..........

Just the other day I was watching Leatherheads (Clooney)...and the b&w treatment made this photo seemed set in that same era...

I like this shot in black and white! Great choices for your blog awards! I enjoy two of them regularly!

Hey Babooshka, sorry I haven't been on the tinternet for ages cos I've been away on holiday in Liverpool but guess what - I've actually taken my own snaps. Some serious, some of just quirky, stupid stuff that I laughed at when I saw. I need my own camera though - asking my friend if I can borrow hers is getting annoying! I think I'll post and write about them on SCG...

Aww, thank you sooo much for the award - funnily enough Brett from 365 did a similar thing the other day and but about SCG. I know I'm loved.

Whew... Nice pic of the rugby as well. Never been a fan personally but it makes for a good snap.
Ciao love x mwah!

Ah, a just right b&w shot, Babooshka, for rendering the mood of a rough and gritty game of rugby.

Congrats on all your well deserved awards! You have made the Isle of Man a must stop on my daily laptop travels. Thank you for your recognition and also your kind advice and encouragement.

I'm no great rugby fan, but this is a great shot (and I'm always up for a bit of eye candy!).

I'm glad I've had the chance to catch up with your blog again. The last week's been bonkers having been away, I'm still knackered, but looking forward to getting back into looking at everyone's blogs again.

One of my coworkers plays on a local rugby team and he's always coming into work with broken parts. He calls it fun.
And to respond to your plaintive WTF moment, the Geek Squad is a company that comes to your place of business to fix your computer. They drive the goofy cars because real geeks don't drive sports cars.
