ODD SHOTS MONDAY- HIDE AND SEEK
I'm thinking of starting a range of humourous critters greetings cards. What do you think? The humans run away when they see me and my camera. Not so the animals and birds. Almost seem to perform when they see me appear on the horizon. Two minutes earlier these ducks were perfectly happy waddling about. Then in unison, it was heads down for the camera lady. Maybe they weren't performing afterall? Perhaps they were hoping I'd pass them by if they weren't displaying their heads and fine beaks. Don't be silly it's Odd shots Monday and hiding ducks will do just fine. More Isle of Man birds immortalized as greetings cards coming soon. Well it will be if they keep behaving like this!

Like your idea about the animal cards! Like these photos, too. I'll keep my eyes open for such shots, and will be sure to carry my long lens more often.
c'est béte que l'on ne puisse pas agrandir la photo. j'aime bien ;o))
it is annoying that we can not enlarge the photo. I like ;o))
Yes they understand us more than humans do =D
Love how they hid their heads at the same time lol!
Synchronised hiding - love it! All this hiding from the camera could give a photographer some kind of complex.
You are too funny. I get the same reaction as you do around people, they run.
Oh you do make me laugh. I think you have been to the taxidermist and had them stuffed like the robin and chaffinch. very fuuny little image again.
Jacqui xx
Now that's a great catch for ODD SHOTS!!!!! Maybe if they can't see you, they think you can't see them? Ü
Thanks for dropping by to see mine.
Haha, what a great catch for Odd shots! Well done!
A great catch and quite funny!
Liked Mr. George also.
You & your birdie photo's!
Am soooooo envious.
Well, I've heard of headless chickens...
Great Odd Shot, I make some of my photos into Greeting Cards, lots of work but fun.
I am LOL .. truly LOL .. that is wonderful!

Hi,
Thank you.
Nice photo..
Yes, I, also, make greeting cards from some of my photos. This certainly would make a fun one.
Go for that line of cards, yes. You would do well! Love your Odd Shot today and it was good to finally meet George. Fine photo of a handsome pelican.
You might just have a market for your card line...people love seeing animals do funny things. Let us know how it goes.
Very funny that they both did it at the same time!
How comical! I wonder why ducks do that.
I think the cards are a gret idea! I'd love to see them. This is a cute post, the story made me laugh.
It must be a conspiracy as it is so well synchronized.
This photo would make a great greeting card. Birds can be funny like this. A parakeet that I had many years ago would turn his back on me when displeased. His philosophy was "you don't exist if I can't see you." Maybe these ducks had the same idea.
I found them, my turn to hide :)
Hah! I think they realized you had both and agenda and a deadline -:)
I love finding coincidental pattern like this - I have a (not so good) photos of two identically positioned cows like this :-D
awww! hahaha, great photo :]
awww! hahaha, great photo :]
Nice shot. I hope your proposal will be successful.
Great shot. I got some like this yesterday but I don't think they all hid at the same time! I do find it quite funny how they hide their heads and definitely odd!
