ABC WEDNESDAY - R IS FOR RAMSEY RUGBY

R then is for Ramsey Rugby. Well you knew I had to have Ramsey, but thought I'd add the twist and go for the double whammy R with the Rugby. Ramsey are the team pushing forward in the blue shirts. Fortunately I captured them in full flight en route to scoring much needed points. Unfortunately they were yet again the losing team. The camera never lies, so they say. It seems in the world of sport it can create the illusion, albeit for a fleeting moment, of a triumph, rather than disaster. Nevermind lads, always next season.

Good news for me, the cable has arrived and my laptop and I can renew our relationship. Wasn't quite the same using other peoples, although I am eternally grateful.

If you'd like to join ABC Wednesday please got to this link MRS NESBITT'S PLACE
Mrs Nesbitt is the host for ABC Wednesday, where you can find details for joining, her own odd shot to comment on and a list of fellow bloggers who are playing today, who you can also comment on.

I have a rugby photo too but not such a good in-action one as yours. Well done! You could have told us they won!

How about 'rugged Ramsey rugby'? I love action shots like this. No rugby here in Belgrade either, just soccer as a similar sport, and of course now young kids are wild about tennis, thanks to Djokovic, Jankovic, Ivanovic, and Tipsarovic.

Wonderful action shot. Rugby is not a popular sport here in Greece. in fact is a little bit unknown. good news for the cable

Well mad a change from Racing through Ramsey - gues you'll have enough of that over the next few weeks.

I did mean 'makes' - but was that a Freudian slip?

Great sunny action-shot! So glad your cable has arrived, it's awful being without your personal machine.

R comme Rugby est une bonne idée. belle action que tu as bien rendu. Pas toujours facile les sports avec des mêlées pour bien faire ressortir un joueur, bravo

R as Rugby is a good idea. beautiful action that you realized it. Not always easy sport with mixed well to bring out a player, bravo

Excellent my friend as per. It's a real game, not like football. Splendid action photograph.

I've never seen a Rugby game but my nephew in San Diego is on a team. I wonder if it's catching on here in the US now?
Great photo!

Great shot of the game. I remember learning Rugby in highschool gym class.. yes, they taught the girls as well. I am Canadian. I don't know if they still do that... that was quite a while back.
Great post. And I'm pleased to hear you have rekindled the relationship between laptop and cable once more ... woohoo!

Love the shot, I like to show our local teams doing well also, even though they usually lose.

This is a great action shot! We are just beginning to have Rugby here, and I sometimes watch them playing when I drive by their field/pitch(?).

A great action shot. Rugby is played in Australia, but in my state Australian Rules Football is still the most supported football code.

Fun action shot, I have yet to shoot a sporting event. Looks like a fun sport to watch.

Rugby seems to be gaining in popularity in the Bay Area. "Louis" doubts that rugby or soccer ever will equal football, baseball and basketball in popularity aux États-Unis. Great action shot!

As for me, I like the pretty colors of the matching outfits. What they do with balls and sticks is less important.

Yep, a photo of a game can be deceiving, but the photo is a great action shot with many facial expressions and it is the truth for that moment. As you say - for Ramsey, there will be next year.

Nice shot! I don't think rugby is big in Canada - most guys are more into hockey, which I hate. Oh well...come on over and see my R today. :D

Glad you are back in business there. I am, too, though now my printer has decided to act up.

I like rugby too but I have never seen a game with the Montpellier team! Several World Cup games took place in Montpellier last year. Bonne chance to your favorite team!

Thank you very much for visiting my blog!

It looks like a rough game, but girls as well as boys play it here in Ontario.
