The local boating lake in the local park on a breeze free Spring day. O the Isle of Man, that could all change within hours, but pretty while it lasts.

I lived here, a small town, on a small island, in the middle of the Irish Sea. Welcome to The Isle of Man. My time on the island in mages

Never to old for a walk in the park
Autumn evening
A walk round the boating lake situated in the local Park called the Mooragh. Unlike a lot of local parks across the world, this one has no gates enclosing to lock you out of an evening. The park is always open, and runs parallel to the beach for a promenade walk. Benefits of island life. Walking, through pretty areas, the low budget night out, and the healthier option. If you're feeling the need to get even healthier you can always use the free gym equipment dotted about the park The alternative to the pub for some. Never goes out of fashion, a simple romantic evening walk.

Mooragh Park, Ramsey, Isle of Man, Sunset
After rugby, before karaoke
During the winter months I can be found most Saturdays photographing Ramsey Rugby home games. This is a winter view, after the game, taken from Mooragh Park, looking towards Skyhill, on the way home.
More skies around the world can be seen here, as part of Skywatch.

Mooragh Park
Surf's up
It gets a little windy now and then. Normally the lake is quite calm as you can see in previous posts. I don't think anyone was trying out the gym equipment featured in another post scattered about the park that windy afternoon. In fact, I think I was the only fool up there that day. Just for the photo of course.

Mooragh Park
Outside Gym
Since I last blogged something strange appeared in the local park. Not aliens, outdoor gym and workout equipment. I've yet to see anyone actually use it, but I'm sure a few people have a sneaky morning workout before work.
