HAVE I EVER SHOWN YOU RAMSEY SWING BRIDGE ?

Bird's eye view

19/100

Ramsey Swing Bridge

I'm sure the irony of the title is not lost on my most ardent readers . Yes of course we have had images of the bridge inordinate amount of times(ok a slight exaggeration as it says 19 duh!) but have we ever had one with a bird and people.... at the same time. I know exciting isn't it(we are still doing irony aren't we?) what's more it's a whole new angle. No, really we are now get this... over the bridge. Yes Yes I'm on the other side. I know so exciting. I ventured forth once more unto the bridge, a bridge to far most days broke on through to the other side all to bring you number 19/100. I even shot and stuffed the bird for you. No, No, No, that is a complete lie, a joke. I'm a vegetarian after all. I didn't say that's not how I got the people in position on the bridge now did I. I need to shut up now don't I and explain my 19th nervous bridge breakdown to the uninitiated?

And have I shown you Diamond Head here on my Hawaii blog?

LOL!

Yes, we go to the same subjects and appreciate their seasonal, diurnal, and life-time transformations.....Our surroundings are our blogs...and ourselves.
Aloha Dear Babooshka!

like your capture of the bridge...so kind of the gull to pose for you atop the light pole. did you have to bribe him/her?
have a wonderful thursday

They're not real people - they're stuffed aren't they? They don't have people there do they? lol

Can't make it for the TT but I want to see the new Star Trek - maybe next week.

Hee hee. Lol. That bird is unreal.

This is great! How much did you pay the seagull? :-)))

I think this is the farthest you've gone out from the bridge yet. I thought the gull was a fancy ornament for the lamp!

Enjoy Star Trek!

I don't think you've shown me a pic of the bridge on the second Wednesday of the fifth month of the year.

gulls don't need bribing - they are always getting in on the act - mostly pigeons and starlings in my case though - is it really only #19?

Swing low, sweet seagull. Nice shot!

Birdy on the lamp was more eyecatching element now than the bridge. I´m not coming to IOM TT as I expect to see it right here.

Yes only no 19th bridge image. Well 19 since we started counting, but the bridge appears in the background of many images.

The bird is not really stuffed is it?
Nice to see this side from corner to corner. I live here so I will be at the TT.

"Swing"? Sounds more like you're in a rock 'n' roll frame of mind today. Or did you think we missed the Stones references?

Cool shot! Can't wait to see what you do with the other 81!

How do you make it look so fantastic.

I don't know how you do it - every shot makes it look like a different bridge!

Seagulls like it high ! I noticed that along the english South East coast too, they always sit on these street lamps !

Excellent B&W composition... and the comment about the bird made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the chuckle :-)

hehehe...

The Ramsey swing bridge is cool! I wouldn't mind seeing few more of these!

Has it really only been 19? Very nice of you to "break on through to the other side". Reminds me of a Doors/Jim Morrison tune. Speaking of bridging, metaphorically, OK, I'll make a leap; Mrs. DL and I viewed the action thriller Angels & Demons. Yes, it is set in Rome and the Vatican.

But there is a scene where you're home island is mentioned by an Isle of Man Numbered Bank Account. Just then I thought of your images and how you are chased down by the police.

OK, so I'm now ready for #20.

Oh, Babooshka--may I be a member of "The Cult of Babooshka's Ramsey Swing Bridge," from afar? Pretty please? 'Cause I love bridges and this series. And I adore this bird's insouciantly precarious angle of perch! Thanks for crossing the bridge. It's a grand photo.
