Rain Rain go away,
So the bikes have no delay,
Photographer me has her bills to pay
On the positive side the other half and I had a cracking slap up breakfast(me full veggie him full everything) at the Court Cafe along the high street. You know me by now. If it's bad I'll tell you so this will make a pleasant change. If you find yourself in Ramsey - go there. Good prices, good grub, friendly staff and no they haven't a clue who I am so this endorsement maybe a shock. Hell, you can even get a packed lunch for £5. You will find me there a lot this week stocking up on the caffeine in between races. So the bikes have no delay,

How thunderous am I feeling round about now. You saw my image from yesterday. Click here to see. Perfect sky. Not an cloud or any looming on the horizon. Got up today.. and so had the rain. Talk about a washout. Cancelled. This means now the whole week has to be rescheduled. This also means I now have to shuffle all my commitments around. You can see for yourselves that cloud hanging over us was swollen with water and within minutes of the image a downpour ensued. A downpour that lasted until late afternoon.
Well I'm gutted not to be showing you any racing today. Hopefully by the time everyone gets here she will have brought the sunshine on the ferry from Heysham and I can get to work on the motorbike photos.
Annoyed photographer on the loose will be cheerier when the sun has got his hat on.

Did you back the winner at the Derby today? I didn't :(
Stupid old rain cloud but great photo!
We are not coming until Sunday night so I can't say I am sorry the racing has been delayed. You have amazing photos.
Raining here a world away too, but no complaints here as we still need more with the drought we are under. :)
Lynn- The Derby. I'm so one one note with the TT I completely forgot any other sport event.
Kaye- True you'll get to see the delayed races. Every cloud soes have a silver lining then.
Tfangel- True again rain for some is a welcome lifeline.
Night all. Long day ahead with what we call Mad Sunday. Hope to show you tomorrow.
your pic is as gray as your skies it seems. nic pic though. hope you schedules not too far gone in the wind.
Cool monochrome photo!
Rain, rain, stay here today
go away some other day!
We need rain here and we just planted some new flowers!
Minnesota greetings
I hope you now have sunshine and races. It's too bad that the rain canceled everything today, but you did get a great picture of the sky.
OH NO! Unbelievable! I saw that you were worried about this from your Facebk entry. Picturesque cloud none-the-less.
Babooshka:THe Sky Is Great...Wondeful Photograph..
That little cloud washed out the race? May the sun shine on you tomorrow.
Oooh...looks like angry skies in your neck of the woods.
In our area right now the mantra is rain rain rain. We're in a drought situation and welcome any rain we can get, like today.
It could be worse... how about some snow and rain such as here? Does that make you feel any better? =)
I like the clouds even if they whispering about rain...
It was just trying to watch the race as well - how was it know it wasn't welcome?
Cotton wool comes to mind...lovely and fluffy.
Hubbys been watching the TT 9pm
ITV4, I have no chance with big brother. LOL
Saturday on our way home from Wales, 164 miles for 130 we had the wipers on constantly....:-(
I really like those clouds even if they whisper about rain.
Have a great sunday!
Anna
I know the feeling. All week some the best weather in years and now its the weekend and over 30mm of rain on the east coast of Ireland and that would include Isle of Man. Looks good for Sunday.
Good Luck and hope to see some wonderful images of men in leathers on bikes!
I'm sorry about the rain delay but that makes for a beautiful monochrome shot. Mine is also featuring rain.
It rained most of last week here, but you really captured the clouds well. Very nice photo.
Bet the race organisers are kicking themselves not racing today. Will be on the look out for you. Thanks for your very, very kind comments. Keep up the brill work.....
Typical Island/TT weather. They have even raced with snow on the Mountain.
Just keep the rain - we can do without it for a while :-)
Good luck with the weather!
Load of rain here too. Stopped me going to a couple of events. So another 'old' photo going up today. don't know what yet though.
Sorry about the race but it's a nice cloud shot. :-) We've been really cloudy too but not much rain from all those clouds.
The clouds look more beatiful than the rain feels. ;)
And we have had enough rain for a while now...
The clowds have theyr mission too :-)) And sometimes they can be very very beautiful at a picture, like this one :-))
Nice week.
I keep my fingers crossed that the rain will stop. At least it gave you the opportunity for this nice cloudy shot.
Buenos Aires Photo
Mannanan - I just checked. You snapped the very place I was, but a different time.
I hope that cloud has already disappeared!
Very nice cloud, I hope the rain has stopped though.
Stink one alright! Your sky yesterday was a stunner! I hope you will still get the shots your after (just not as soon as you hoped!)
Thanks for your visit! I am glad to be back after a enforced break away!
It's always heartwarming to read about others around the world who also mainline caffeine. Why is it rain seems to be a very popular and frequent blog subject of late. (Miami was praticaly washed away yesterday by 5 inches or so of rain and it flooded stores and streets.)
At least you had a good nosh up! I saw some of the TT on ITV 4, didn't spot you though!
Love that cloud bank above the hills. It grabs the eye...even if it brings the rain.
Great photo, as always!
OH... it looks WET WET WET
Great shot
Monochrome/ TYRA
What rotten luck! I hope you're back on track soon without any massive scheduling hassles.
The breakfast sounds great though - much better than the cheerios I had this morning.
love those clouds hanging over the mountains .. we had miserable rain all last week and more due this week .. FEH
Your rain cloud may have stalled the event but you have a magically moody, dramatic photo!
Clever verse and a marvelous mono! Hope it didn't stick around too long.
