More, More, More, TT

Another Race Day

Leaning

Leaving

Frozen

. Just open the lens, pulled back on the wide shot rocked backed on the heels and let the sky in. Actually number I and 3 were take sat on the floor pushing the camera through the railing and linking my arms round the rail. Not advisable. You also look a demented fool.

The races will be over tomorrow. Last of the bikes to capture. Boo Hoo! I will miss them and the tourists, especially two I met today called.... well no I will leave that to next week, but a lot of you will know who it is. Even got some photos too. Don't even ask about the mistaken identity and the Policeman. Next Week.

Others skies can be found here.

one day left.

See the week of racing just scroll down the posts this week.

Good sneaking of the motorbikes into this meme! For sure I see sky. ;-)

It amazes me that the bikes and riders don't fall over at the angles they lean at. Neat to see these photos!

Babooshka - What a hoot! I was hoping you were on one of the bikes, though...

perfect catch for sky watch! God and Nature first made us what we are, and then out of our own created genius we make ourselves what we want to be..... Mine's up too hope you can drop by... Have a great weekend!

If you did look a 'demented fool' (which I doubt), it was SO WORTH IT! These are gorgeous and I love the bikes. It seems to have been a great week...I'm thinking I'll just have to get the kids over there one year for this. Thanks for sharing such splendid photos of it this time around!

Thanks for showing a positive side of the TT.

VALKYRIEN said...

Unusual for SkyWatch - and I like it! A lot of action, can't believe how you captured them so well! They have a lot of speed!

April said...

It looks like a pretty nice day. You've really captured the action - great photos!

laxeylass said...

YOU SAT ON THE FLOOR! What if a bike veered towards you? Top marks again.

Babooshka said...

LL- I only shot those two on the floor. Realized it was not such a good idea on the safety front.

Phil- only positive side of TT for me.

Susan - You have to come over at least once with the kids if only for the ice cream, never mind the bikes.

Fun photos for sky watch friday, think we all know that feeling of looking a little crazy while we twist at odd angles to find the best view of the sky.

I don't know what it's called, but the moment when the motorbikes turn and tilt in a race like that is always the most exciting to me ...

Cool moments, B!

Would love to meet your friend(s) if they happen to be stopping in Bandung.

Just announced you as my very first blog of the week, there is an award photo on my site if you want to display it. don't blush too much when you read it, you deserve it.

You can show all of these you like! Any chance you can capture one or more of these bikes on the Swing Bridge?

Kidding. I WAS KIDDING.

VERY cool shots! Shame we don't have an event like that around here.

Of course you had to sneak the Moto race in along with the sky watch. LOL MB

Must be great to have such races for a week around you.
In two weeks it's time for the Dutch TT at Assen. That's about 50 km from where I live, but I don't think I'll go there. It's too crowdy for me. :-)
Enjoy your weekend and the rest of the races.
