U is for united. That's what the sidecar team have to be.Working in tandem as you can see. U is form uniform they wear. U is for my universal images that find themselves around the globe.
U if for U have probably had enough of me banging on about the bikes, but honest it's only two weeks of the year and one of those is practice week. This is race week. These images were taken from Taubman Street, the Sure Sidecar Race A.

Great shots again.
ReplyDeleteI remember my dad had an old sidecar, but not for racing. I remember having a ride in it once, I can't have been older than 6 or 7. I bet heath and safety wouldn't let that happen now.
Wow, the race must be very exciting. Hope you all have a good time.
ReplyDeleteNow that would make a great shot on my website you as the passenger in a sidecar race and Mrs Nesbitt driving. Looked out for her and her duck at the Sprint today with no luck at all. Looked out for you as well but no luck on that front either. Still there's a few days left. Cracking photos yet again.
ReplyDeleteHe's from Laxey! Is he Manx? 100% Brilliant photos today.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic U! I love it! Those bikes are so colorful and bright.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of united teams! They seems to have a lot of fun and speed :)
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for you. I think you move as quick as the bikes. Dead on images.
ReplyDeleteYou are getting some nice images from the TT. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteCool action shots! You'd have to be mad or brave or both to get in one of those side cars!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of nice Us. All the things that our little earth need, but don't get.
ReplyDeleteWatching the sidecar racing must have been exciting. One definitely must be united to do the race. Perfect U.
ReplyDeleteI went to school with him. He's not Manx. Like your sidecars. Did you go to my school?
ReplyDeleteOh, this looks like alot of fun to watch, but I wouldn't want to be in the side car....makes for bright and colorful shots...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots as usual. I remember watching sidecar races when I was young. The bikes were nowhere as sophisticated and streamlined back then.
ReplyDeleteZoom zoom! Looks like fun on the Isle of Man! Thanks for the fun, racing, speedy photos!
ReplyDeleteFascinating take on something that I know nothing about. It was very interesting reading and viewing!

ReplyDeleteAs long as I am not sitting in this sidecar, it must be nice to watch !
ReplyDeleteHello Andy!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, if you and Mrs. Nesbitt go sidecar 'racing', I hope Andy will be filming or photographing that
;-)
The sidecar races must be interesting! I've never driven one, though I do have my full motorbike licence. Actually, I've never taken a pillion passenger either!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have Mrs N visiting the island! Have a great time! :)
That looks like a lot of fun. I've always wanted to ride in a sidecar, but not at that speed. When going fast, I like to be in control!
ReplyDeleteLooks fascinating and sufficiently scary.
ReplyDeleteMore racing today. Thanks for stopping by. Looking out for a specific sidecar today Mrs N.
ReplyDeletehanging my head in shame.. My U is a snore compared to this razzmatazz!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and designs. I guess if the rider in the sidecar falls off, he doesnt have far to fall.
ReplyDeleteNo apologies, I am enjoying the TT. Just need to add a bit of noise and petrol smell.
ReplyDeleteCool! But are you the driver or the passenger?
ReplyDeleteNow this looks like fun! Hope you and Denise get to meet up; I can just picture the two of you in one of these races:) Thanks for hosting this week, Babooshka!
ReplyDeleteThose guys in the side cars must have buns of steel (literally). They must feel every bump in the road!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! How exciting!
ReplyDeletePerfect U!
Thanks for hosting and taking such fantastic photos....

United we stand - or sit in this case. Action-photos with a large A!

ReplyDeleteSidecar racing! This is pretty cool! Great shots, Babooshka!
ReplyDeleteVery great and interesting post! Thanks for sharing! I love to see a photo of you and Denise.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading yours and other U posters, I am astounded at all the words beginning with U! Took me a while to figure out even one word.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the first thing about racing, but your photos really capture the cars.
Have you and Denise chosen your united colours for the race. Atmospheric photos and so close.
ReplyDeleteCanceled Sidecar B. Will they reschedule race? Yellow peril my favorite. What lens did you use for that image?
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteGood set of photos and should help to keep the wolf from the door for a while.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it was being televised. Might have a look to see when it's on & see if I can spot you.
Gail's Man - Not watching but Babooshka has been waving all week.Well in her way of course.
ReplyDeleteDonnie Sidecar B canceled indefinitely for this year.
I must add that U also stands for Manchester United.
ReplyDeleteNow I'd pay folding money to see you hanging out the back of the sidecar like that. What a hoot!
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to play with the camera.
ReplyDeleteBikes and tigers and butterflies - made me smile.

I didn't realize they had sidecar races. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteLoving the sidecards! I've been on the back of one of those :)
ReplyDeleteI feel for Nicky Crow and Mark Cox and their families.
