July 4th, we had this marvellous sunset. Never seen a sky like this in the 5 years I've been here.
For those who saw the previous posts you know I took a heaps of the setting sun that night over the nature reserve. Most of them I am using on a project which requires exclusivity, but this is one of the surplus I had left over. The other surplus stockI may post at sometime, unless I have alternative use for them.
For the record, no filters, photoshop or any other digital enhancements used. This was the sun setting between 10.pm 10.30pm July 4th 2008. You can check other sites to see I was not the only one who got this night's sunset images, but I am one of the few who got it at the optimum moments.
Not a lot else to say tonight. Need a blog break, due to small minded people who really have nothing better to do that belittle the blog. I'll let the image do the talking instead. It has a lot more to say with such colourful vibrant language than I do tonight, and that really is a change.
Please stop by Wiggers World tonight, as the sun is setting on the blog. Thank you.
To join skywatch go to SKYWATCH
The concept was Dot's, the next host WIGGERS WORLD the guardians of skywatch now are Tom, Imac and Sandy

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel with blogging. I am struggling too with similar reasons, but I will not let small minded people dictate to me what I do or do not do. I will not give them that power.
Do as you wish to. Do what is right for YOU.

ReplyDeleteLovely sunset once again.
ReplyDeleteHey, get over the little minded people, okay?
It's one of those specials when the atmosphere is just so and all the other conditions. Gave you a great shot but YOU had to be there to grab it.
ReplyDeleteThe colour cast on mine is not my doing either but actually lousy processing of a roll of transparency.
I was dyingto use trans parency once more after maybe twenty years but its hard to get here and harder for good processing. I'd love to do my own once more.
For the record, no filters, photoshop or any other digital enhancements used.
ReplyDeleteThat makes the day.
The way of fortune is like the milkyway in the sky.... Wonderful capture for skywatch! Mine's up too hope you can drop by, asking for your vote too..Happy weekend!

ReplyDelete"It was during the horror of a deep night ......." this magnificent sky
That one is surplus?! - I'd love to see what the ones you used are like. Its hard for me to believe the sun can set at 10.30 pm. It sets by 8.30 here in summer, twilight is such a strange phenomenon.
ReplyDeleteWow - the hand of Mother Nature just constantly amazes me!!! You were so lucky (and clever) to capture it for us!!! Thanks!!!
