Well there are probably more tourists bikes here in this shot, than there are on the whole island the rest of the time. Also, do you notice those white posts in the distance, far left ? They are rugby goal posts. That means the motorbikes you see are actually parked on the rugby pitch. For me this is really wierd to see motorbikes en mass parked on a piece of land that belongs to another sport, especially as I usually photograph Ramsey Rugby here.
Gotta run. Off to the morning races. By the way, I will be wearing the T.shirt I had made with Ramsey Daily Photo on the back, and one of my photos of a rider on the front. You'll know who I am then if I turn up on someone else's photos or the T.V.

Then see KATNEY
Wow that's a lot of bikes and a lot of guys in leather - have a good time enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot of lovely lovely lovely bikes! Much more fun than Rugby, honestly.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes - putting the rugby field to good use.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the racing.
belle réunion de motos, c'est impressionnant.
ReplyDeletebeautiful reunion of motorcycles, is impressive.
It's really a sea of motorbikes ... poor rugby field lawn!
ReplyDeleteHope I can see that special t-shirt! :)
Who pays for the rugby field reconstruction? LOL
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot with fantastic color!
That's a lot of bikes, and colorful too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks neat, I would love to be near there and here the roar.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen so masny bikles together! :-) Have a great week and unforgettable days at the TT race!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that is a lot of bikes
ReplyDeleteThats a lot of bikes! Another oddity, the guy riding is going opposite to the way the bikes are parked.
ReplyDeleteThat really looks like so much fun... have a great time!
ReplyDeleteDarn! Seeing this collection may mean I need to put Ramsey and the TT on my travel agenda. So many things to do, places to go but so little time. Well, we'll see. Not an adventure that's out of the question. Looking forward to experiencing this event through your lenses.
ReplyDeleteThen, it is definitely an odd situation . . . is this an annual event?
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Paulie
I love the image.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are superb!
I love "motos" and so "rugbi"
I much prefer the human-powered type. Unless they're old ones or army ones, motorcycles don't do a great deal for me I'm afraid :)
ReplyDeleteCan we see a picture of your t-shirt? :-D
That's a lot of bikes, my dad and brother-in-law would be in heaven.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot, and it really gives a sense of scale of the event. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You aren't kidding when you say a sea of bikes. I had no idea there would be so many! The colors are excellent!
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a lovely shot, Babooshka. Assuming that most of these bikes do not reside on the Isle of Man, the Steam Packet Company has been busy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful capture... I hope you get some crackers while the TT is on.
ReplyDeleteTom
Holy Moly that's a bunch of bikes! "Louis" is glad Chuck Pefley, Seattle's "Mr. Vespa", saw this!
ReplyDeleteGreat odd shot. BJ
ReplyDeleteNow that is an amazing shot! just amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow, bikes as far as the eye can see - very impressive.
ReplyDeleteOoooo! brings to mind Star Trek IV--"Remember where we parked."
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy photographer, Baboosh! Enjoying the great pix of all your hard work though.
ReplyDeleteNeat shot, odd indeed!
